At The Cowboy Shirt Sales Store, we stand behind our western wear like a cowboy stands by his trusty steed. If your purchase didn’t fit right or meet your expectations, we’ll make it right faster than you can say “yeehaw!” Here’s everything you need to know about returns and exchanges.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of you receiving your order. All items must be:
- Unworn and unused
- In original packaging with all tags attached
- In the same condition you received them
Note for Buckle Lovers: Due to hygiene reasons, Men’s Belts & Buckles cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective. All other products in our menu (Jackets, Jeans, Shirts, and Accessories) are eligible for returns.
How to Return or Exchange
Follow these steps smoother than a line dancer’s glide:
- Contact Us: Email [email protected] with your order number and reason for return (use our template below).
- Get Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Pack It Up: Securely package your items with the original packing slip.

Return Shipping
You’re responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service – lost packages are sadder than a country song.
Refund Information
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds process within 5 business days
- Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Amount: Original purchase price minus shipping costs (unless return is due to our error)
Note: Depending on your bank, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
Exchange Process
Want a different size or color? Follow the same return process above, but specify in your email that you’d like an exchange. We’ll ship your new item as soon as we process your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrived damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll send a replacement faster than a jackrabbit on hot pavement.
